Award-winning kwaito group Big Nuz are not yet musical legends, but their rise to fame has earned them the right to perform at the annual Tribute to SA Music Heroes concert in Moretele Park.
The slot was last year given to another house music outfit, the Brits group Rhythmic Elements.
Big Nuz won the Song of the Year at the 16th annual Sama awards with their hit song Umlilo.
The Durban-based group will represent kwaito music at Moretele Park in Mamelodi on August 29.
The 13-year-old concert is produced by Drakensberg Promotions, in partnership with Sunday World, Sowetan and Kaya FM.
