Showbiz News update: Kathryn Bigelow knows as one of the best director when her horror film Near Dark released. She direct many successful films and has won the best picture award. A very talented painter, Kathryn spent two years at the San Francisco Art Institute. At 20, she won a scholarship to the Whitney Museum’s Independent Study Program. Last year’s best director winner Kathryn Bigelow (The Hurt Locker) had the pleasure of handing this year’s Best Directing Oscar to The King’s Speech helmer Tom Hooper.
