Progressives UnitedThe organization, called Progressives United, hopes to build a grassroots movement to push back against the effects of the Citizens United decision. While the ultimate goal is reversal of the decision, Progressives United will also support progressive candidates at the local, state and national levels. With the GOP controlling the House of Representatives, the President’s budget proposal might as well have been submitted via e-mail, saving the printing cost, as it has virtually no chance of passing Republican review.
