October is absolutely my favorite month. We're only 4 days in, and I've already devoured this month's magazine subscriptions. Here are some of my favorite ideas from October:

Texas designer Kimberly Renner's bright and breezy family home. 

Her custom steel bathroom vanity is a showstopper! 

I love the bold color scheme. She uses the orange and red so precisely and sparingly.

House Beautiful

 The romantic, traditional, AND kid-friendly New Orleans Victorian home of designer Melissa Rufty.

My heart beats for romantic, traditional design. Especially if it's indestructible.

The black and white (and green) garden of Portland designer Henry Brown.

Bold black and white stripe is easily my favorite pattern.
