Labels Fight Over Singer

After Durban-based singer Thab’sile made a grand entrance with DJ Bongz’s Sobabili, it seems things are not going well for her.

This because Thab’sile’s former boss Vusi Leeuw, the owner of H.U.G.E Entertainment, refuses to release her from a contractual agreement.

Thab’sile has just dropped her second album, Take Me Home, with a different company, Loxion Records, and, Loxion boss Bheki Dlamini says Leeuw is now threatening to sue Loxion and Thab’sile for breach of contract. Speaking to Sunday World on Friday, Thab’sile Ndlovu (24), alleges Leeuw has been putting her career on hold for almost five years now.

She says she is tired of Leeuw’s “spitefulness”. “Whenever I try to reach out to him (Leeuw) he tells me that he wants to teach me a lesson because I was rude to him,” she says.
