Applications are invited for the position of Sound Engineer as part of the Theatre Department, Gold Reef City Casino – home to the luxurious world-class Lyric Theatre and the intimate Globe Theatre.
Requires matriculation, a diploma or certificate in sound engineering, and at least 1 year professional experience in sound engineering. The Sound Engineer must be able to operate sound for shows, conferences and corporate events, work with sound designers as required, and maintain the sound equipment. Basic audio and video editing will be an added advantage. The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal and verbal communication skills, be able to work within a highly structured environment, and be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
